Antman And The Wasp: Quantumania - Trailer Review

Peyton Reed and Paul Rudd's highly anticipated collaboration for the third installment of the Ant-Man Trilogy has given fans something to cheer about. It is because the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania trailer has just been released, and the good news is that it features not only one Paul Rudd but many. Author Carson Burton discusses the trailer on Variety, saying, “multiple Paul Rudds face a brutal ending.” Whereas, the author Clark Collis reports on Entertainment Weekly that the director has promised it to be an epic movie.

Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame and before the events of the sequel to the 2019's Captain Marvel coming out in 2023, the story of Ant-Man will follow Scott Lang, Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), and Hope van Dyne, The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) as they team up with their allies to stop a powerful new villain, Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors). In the film, Kang is a time traveler from the future who seeks to conquer the present by using a powerful weapon called the Quantum Tunnel. Not only this, but Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania also introduces another villain, The Ghost, who will be portrayed by actress Kathryn Newton. The Ghost is a skilled hacker and thief who has the ability to phase through solid objects.

As reported on Pop Verse, the movie will also see the return of previous cast members, such as Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, Michael Pena as Luis, Cassie Lang (Emma Fuhrmann), the daughter of Scott Lang, and Nathaniel Richards (Kurt Russell), a time traveler from the future, are also part of this much-awaited movie.

Set to be released on February 17, 2023, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is directed by Peyton Reed, who also directed the previous two "Ant-Man" movies in the trilogy. On Cinema Blend, author Simbiat Ayoola highlighted Peyton Reed's views on introducing Kang the Conquerer, and according to him, the upcoming movie will portray the little Marvel hero in a very different light than either Ant-Man or Ant-Man and the Wasp. Ant-Man will come up against one of the MCU's great villains, and the stakes will be far higher than in the previous two films.
